Dog Food & Treats
What kind of dog food do you feed your dog? I feel my Sammy Iams but Im thinking of changing it to a brand the vet sells. I give Sammy every other day a Greenie to chew. He loves them but doesnt really like treats except for chicken or beef jerky. What kind of treats do you give your dog?

Re: Dog Food & Treats
I feed my dog Pro Plan and I have also fed him Science Diet in the past. As far as treats I'm pretty sure he's tried them all. He's a little piggie and likes everything. Except I don't give him the suspicious looking treats or the random no-name brand ones.

Re: Dog Food & Treats
I used to feed my dog IAMS, too.
I gotta tell you though, they do animal testing for IAMS (Proctor and Gamble company is sorta well know for their animal testing and animal cruelty).
I read this little pamphlet from PETA and it had some pics of poor doggies caged and mistreated by the IAMS testing labs.
My pug is on a diet so I feed him this diet food from the vet, it's called MEDical.

Re: Dog Food & Treats
Man thanks for telling me moomies, I was not aware of that. Well I guess my decision to change him from IAMs to something else was for a reason.

Re: Dog Food & Treats
Jake gets Bakers Smokey bacon and liver flavour. It actually smells good enough to eat. My Mum looks after him in the day and she's had to start giving her dog the same as he turned his nose up to his Pedigree Chum Chicken & veg after smelling Jakes!
They're all dry food, its supposed to be better for their teeth. My mum sometimes buys this special squirty doggy gravy that they are quite partial too also.
