I am trying to keep my mind off the fact that by this time tomorrow my puppy will hopefully be out of surgery and be a tripod. I posted a couple months ago how I adopted Ruby and later we found that she had a pellet in her growth plate. Well we came to the decision with our vet that the best thing to do for Ruby and her "flipper" (as my neice calls it) is to amputate. Since she is young (about 10 months) she will be just fine, almost as if she were born with 3 legs.
We removed the pellet a couple months ago but the damage had been done and her leg is growing incorrectly. Her poor leg is growing at an angle and to the side instead of growing forward. I wish my camera was cooperating and I would post pictures to show you guys but of course, technology!
Anywho... the point of my post was to have you all wonderful people please keep Ruby in your thoughts tomorrow!! I will try to post pictures of my cute tripod soon!
Thank you all so much!!!
