Default I just tested out "The Furminator" on Bella...

    FURminator

Wow it was amazing! I recommend it to anyone with a dog or cat that sheds.

This is her after I brushed her for a couple minutes...

I might try this on my dog...a geriatric golden retriever doesn't half make a hairy mess sometimes!!!

Ohhhh, I've got to try this. My dog sheds so much I vacuum every other day or else hairballs start rolling around the house like tumbleweeds. I'm no expert, but I suspect he's got one of them "double coats." (Means long hairs+short, close hairs, right?)

Bella loved it, she lay down and made contented sounds, I had to take the pic quick though as she was trying to sniff her fur

    Hmmm...good to know!

Might have to invest in one of these for my newly adopted long haired kitty!

This is a completely new area to me....so thanks Honey!

I could knit a Saki coat this time of year. Totally need one of these.

Okay, I don't know what size to get. Does anyone have the cat sized one (purple)? My male cat is quite large, 12 lbs, so I don't know whether to get the cat version or get the medium yellow. The cat version is made slightly differently. ?

I got the medium one to get the job done quick and it works well on my cats and small dog. I am babysitting my sister's long haired cat this weekend and you all would not believe the fur flying over here!

Medium is probably best, I have large but then my dogs are large.

I heard you can leave out some dog fur for the birds and they use it to make their nests...cute.

Honey, thanks for posting about this. I just bought the small one for my kitties. There is a cat version but they are identical and the small regular one is about $5 cheaper!!
