It's great in theory, but the product sucks. I wouldn't recommend buying it. Cute kitty though.
We had one and the cats like to watch it rake the poop and pee-pies down to the little container. We have four cats so we bought one to try it out and kept some regular ones. Not worth the $$$. Hard to clean if pee or poop get on the side. Comical to watch them watch the machine work. They were all so amazed with it
There is another one called Scoop Free and it has gotten really good reviews on consumerreviews.com. LitterMaid did not. I am getting the Scoop Free because with 4 cats, that's a lot of pee and poo to keep up with.
Post back if it's good. I've tried a couple of brands--Littermaid and this other circular one that I can't remember the name of. Neither was worth the money.
I could do with one of those.
If I don't get to the litter tray quick enough to clean it after the cat's had a poo the puppy dives in and eats it
This would be good when we are on trips and someone looks after them and their box for us. Let me know about that Scoop Free one.

If you have one small cat it might be good.
We had it - very cool concept - but Kris said it, it's hard to keep the sides clean. (and we have a big cat that goes like a med size dog)
He who knows does not speak.
He who speaks does not know.
It may be a few months before I get Scoop Free. Go online and enter: Scoop Free litter box reviews and all sorts of consumer review sites come up. For $100 it's cheaper than the LitterMaid and it costs about $60, I think, for a few months supply of tray refills, so i'm definitely doing my research.
