Default New PETA Commercials

Silverstone Appears in Naked Ad

Hollywood star Alicia Silverstone proves she would rather strip off than eat meat after fronting a pro-vegetarianism campaign. The actress appears naked in new print and television advertisements for animal rights campaigners People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). In the TV commercial, Clueless actress Silverstone is seen emerging from a swimming pool while discussing the benefits of a meat-free diet. She says, "I wasn't always a vegetarian, but I've always loved animals. Physically, the effect has been amazing. There's nothing in the world that's changed me as much as this. I feel so much better and have so much more energy."

(^ It is the second story on this page I believe, so you might have to scroll down a bit.)

I think a bunch of actors have done commercials for PETA. Pam Anderson had one where she was partially naked for a PETA billboard, and it said something like "I'd rather be naked than wear furs."

Do you guys think it helps the cause when actors make these commercials, or not? Just curious.

I'm sure you all would rather me wear faux furs than be naked.

I think it is at least thought provoking. I always thing I would like to be a vegetarian-but I couldn't give up seafood! And when someone orders a hamburger-well-.
But as an anti-fur thing-it really works! Thats something we can all do easily.
