    They can swim I spent a lot of time with kangaroos when I was a youngster. A couple of kangaroos would follow us down to the beach and swim for a bit, jump in after us. Mostly I think to keep their eye on us. Also they had a shifty plan, get in the water with us while the other kangaroos would run off with out lunch..
