Smile Games you play with your pets

Does anyone play odd games with their pets? I know I do and I didn't even realize the quirkiness of some of my actions until a visitor to my house commented on how funny it was to her.
I bark at my dog and he seems to go crazy, wagging his tail, looking all around the house for the source of the barking. I also hide under the covers and make squealing noises so he has to burrow under there to find me. Another thing I do, which I think is hilarious, is I use my brother's laser pointer (I don't point it in his eyes, so don't assume I'm blinding my puppy) and I run it all over our white tile floor and he gets a kick out of chasing it up and down the hallways and up the walls and furniture.
My question is: What kinds of games do you play with your pets?

I play hide and seek with Elmo and it really freaks him out, he has seperation anxiety...

    Tug o war/fetch with stuffed animal(s).

Elmo goes crazy for the laser pointer's red dot. I'm worried it'll hurt his eyes but he really loves it, he tries to sniff it, scratches at it, chases it, rubs his nose on it, he has the greatest time with that thing.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

My shih-tzu is 3 but acts like a puppy. I ask her (loudly) "what's the matter? what's the matter? what's the deal? what's wrong with you? oh my goodness, what's the matter?" and she starts getting hyped up. She'll whine & bark & start running laps around the house, and always ends up attacking the yorkie (who is 8, but a good sport ) They fake-fight for a while, and the shih-tzu yaps & freaks out. She'll go like this for several minutes, then has to run her chubby ass over to the food bowl before she drops down for a nap.

I play a "keep-away" game with one of my cats. He's got a thing for any papery item that is rolled up in a ball. He'll chase it back and forth forever.
You were lucky to have me. But you know what? I think I already got the best part of you. And she's standing right out there. I don't know... what's left just doesn't look so good anymore. Hope Floats

I have played hide and seek with all the cats that have owned me. The new game with the cat that I live with now, is that we talk to each other. I will look at her and just ask her questions and she will talk back at me. It's the funniest thing. Sometimes I think I even understand her. The one day I know she said,"Yes, lovely, now get your bitch ass in there and clean my toilet box."

Cassie likes to play with ribbons and string. She also has a little toy football she likes to play with. She'd make a good running back!

My cat FREAKS for the flash light. So I terrorize her occasionally w/that.

And she loves a good crumpled up piece of paper. The sounds of it being crumpled up will make her come a running! And then she bats it around and plays. We move furniture and find little balls of paper....

I love hide and seek! She (my dog) is so funny when she finds me she goes mad I hide behind the curtains and she follows me in there.

I love frisbee and ball games. I made up this game where I line up loads of balls and kick one after another and she chases them all...so funny watching her trying not to miss one..bless.

I also sometimes pretend to be a dog and make dog noises...

Our male cat Gizmoe has an issue with the flashlight also. I love to bring it out occasionally but it makes my mom mad because he actually climbs up any door frame to get it.

MY cat Claire is pretty senile but once in a while I can get her to play and it usually entails me throwing a sock at her for her to go apeshit with, lol
All you can do at life is play along and hope that sometimes you get it right.

Dick, my boston terrier loves to steal things and run away with them, he's really into being chased. He also loves play fighting, and makes funny hissing noises while he's doing it. He doesn't stop talking when he's hyped up and cries while looking up at me when i'm on the computer if he's not getting enough attention... like right now.

I kick an old exercise ball around the pasture and the horses will run around it. Pony will push it with her head. She gets into it more than the others.

I had a horse that would chase after frisbees. She liked to hold them in her mouth.

Our barn cats go nuts over flashlights. If I walk outside at night, there will be a trail of cats jumping in and out of the light. It gets a little irritating to try and walk around the jumble of cats.

My oldest dog has arthritis and he usually loves to retrieve in the water. We also trained him to herd geese off of the property. I'm not sure how well he will do swimming in the spring.

What about that beloved game, Return the Goat to Its Rightful Owner?

I play throw-the-thing with my pekingese. She's not very good at running and the Chinese emperors never got around to teaching them how to retrieve, so I throw and she runs to go bark at it. She drags it back halfway, then I go get it and throw it again. It's tremendous fun. For her.
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.
