My Fish
My beta fish is dead. I am really bummed about this, he was an amazing fish. We have had him since July, so we didn't even have him that long but I hear that beta fish are often old when you buy them. Still, not a good way to start Monday.

I'm sorry about that, misskris. I once had a blowfish die on me, and I took it very hard.

The craziest thing happened. As my bf went to get Humphrey out of the tank so we could bury him, he moved the teeniest bit! So anyways, he was not dead though he certainly was near dead. We didn't know what to do, so we immediately changed his water to get the toxins of his sickness out. The next day he got a bit perkier and has progressively gotten completely better. I don't know what made him so so sick but he is doing wonderfully now! Thank you to everyone who was so sympathetic about this, I can't even convey how happy I am that the fishy is doing well now.
