Pet Rats

Many people think they are gross but I love pet rats. What are your thoughts?

I've never had a pet rat. What does it do? I mean can you take it out and play or does it not like it?

i let my Gidget run around while i watch tv, u can rough them up and they roll over and play fight with u, Gidget follows me and chases me around the lounge room, and when im on the computer she usually sits on my shoulder and sleeps. They love a good back scratch and they will lick u when u've reached the right spot!! and they will do almost anything for food including jumping from a table to ur back if ur offering them something they want

Thanks, Sleuth, for sharing your happy rat stories, I had some "liberated" lab rats many years ago, and they were smart, loving and good friends. They were very physical and independent in their own little funny rat ways...
