    Default Pet Capybaras

The capybara, Hydrochoerus Hydrochaeris, is a semi-aquatic rodent of South America. It weighs about a hundred pounds, and is about 2 feet tall at the shoulder

Well, short of a Pitt bull, that probably would be the most effective animal at keeping would be burglars at bay.

I love capybaras but think they should be kept in the wild where they have their capybara communites.

I can't imagine having one as a pet, however cute they are.

capybaras are one of my fantasy pets. i'm also obsessed with caplin and garibaldi rous on youtube (pictured above with the white-haired lady). google at your own risk - i.e. wasting hours of your life watching caplin eat a popsicle, swim, wear a headband, etc.

I understand that the meat is very tasty too. But they are too cute to eat.

I wasn't expecting the capybara in the video clip to sound like that. It's cute in its own way.
