That's hilarious, and if it works, it's genius. I wish something like this would work for dogs, because I'd have mine perched over the bowl in a nanosecond.

Kudos to the cats to allowed themselves to be filmed taking a shit, because my dog is very potty shy and will go into attack mode if someone even looks at him while he's shitting.

I had a cat who did the same thing! If you walked into the room where the litter box was and he was doin' his business...he'd hiss!

I need to get this. While my 2 kitties are still young. I scoop their litter box twice a day and flush it. This would be so darned awesome!

My brother trained his cat to use the toilet. Not sure how he did it but too bad they can't be taught to flush after.

I received it today and am just now getting around to opening it. I will let everyone know how it goes!

It does say that (supposedly) you can toilet train your cat at any age, and even declawed cats are able to use the toilet. We had concerns about ours being able to grip the seat, because when we got her from the shelter, she was front-paw declawed.

Yep, I remember reading instructions how to do this in a cat book years ago, and I thought the same thing--too bad they can't flush. Or clean the seat. Or put down the seat.

I guess if you had a spare bathroom which could be used exclusively by the cat-- I don't know if I'd want to share mine with them. It's bad enough they all want to join me in there when I'm on the toilet, lol.

Let us know how it goes, SB!

I think I'd be willing to train my cats to do this. Cleaning litter boxes is the pits.
