Two starving pet dogs fed on their owner's body after he committed suicide and they were left trapped for two weeks, it has been revealed.
The little pugs - named Harry and Sally - were discovered last week by police at a house in the mid-western American city of Omaha.
Now officials at an animal rescue charity face having to find a new owner willing to take the pair in.

A post mortem showed the unnamed man had died of a self-inflicted gun shot and had been dead for two weeks before he was found, said police Lieutenant Chris Whitted.
Humane Society spokesman Mark Langan said he can't verify the dogs - aged three and four - had fed on the body, but he says it would be normal behaviour for dogs left without food or water for two weeks.
Mr Langan added that the pugs appear to be well-adjusted and in excellent shape.
He said they are unlikely to suffer from long-term psychological effects because 'they don't have memories like people.'
'They have been through temperament testing and they appear to be happy, fine, little guys,' said fellow Nebraska Humane Society spokeswoman Pam Wiese.
She added: 'What Harry and Sally went through is awful, but they are dogs. I don't think they think of it the same way we do.'
