Default pet odor products

There are many pet stain/odor eliminators on the market. Check your local pet store. I use on (can't remember the name) and it works well.

I just got my carpets cleaned. I have one area where our puppy liked to sneak off to and pee on. The carpet guy got it out the best he could, but he said if it's been done repeatedly, it's going to stay in there. He said I could try Club Soda though. Pour some club soda on a towel. Put it on the spot, stand on it, don't rub it in. Let it sit. He said it my draw out the smell.

Good luck!

vinegar will get out the smell of CAT pee, which is far more concentrated, so it should work on dog as well

dump some on, let it soak, then sponge up

after, you can dump some water on there and sponge that up to lessen the vinegar smell. It will eventually evaporate to nothingness.

Have you had a liver/kidney panel run on your puppy lately? When they are in kidney failure/ectopic uretur, the smell is unbelievable and they are incontinent, especially at night. Have you enclosed Baby in a hardwood area?

Simple Solution (white bottle with red lettering), you can get it at any pet store. Works wonders.

Try white wine vinegar and bi carb soda. I used this when we first got carnage puppy and not only does it get rid of the smell, it deters them from doing it again. I swear by it!!

Good Luck!

oh, and don't use anything with an ammonia or bleach base - it makes it worse!

Here is the best, cheapest, most efficient thing I have ever found: CLUB SODA. You pour it directly over the spot. Cover with a stack of white paper towels, then a towel. Stand on it several minutes. It draws up smell & stain uber quick. Try it.
Also works on stains on clothes-like if you drop something while eating out just ask the waiter for some. Works.

Good suggestions. Our carpet cleaning guy told me that if you steam clean a pee spot without using a pet odor neutralizer, it can make the smell worse. Maybe you could steam clean again using a pet solution if you didn't use one the first time.

I use bicarb soda to get rid of smells, too, but if it's in the carpet you might need to pull up that part and treat the underside/underlay/floor as well rather than just the surface, otherwise it'll keep floating back up again from underneath, which can encourage your puppy to pee on the same spot again. Another thing I've found that can work for absorbing smells is deodourising cat litter sprinkled on the affected spot, left for a few hours (or overnight, if possible) and then hoovered up and treated again with some carpet freshener. It worked to get rid of the smell of an undiscovered-until-stinky mouse that had been brought in as a present by an enthusiastic cat.

Be sue & pour enough. It has to go all the way down under the carpet & back up. Takes smell, stain with it.
