Trumpet ... rat blows a tune

This cute little fella is one of a pair of rodents who have been trained by their barmy owner to hold on to tiny instruments.
Snapper Ellen van Deelen, 51, used treats to teach her pets, Moppy and Witje, to pose with a variety of different musical props.


And she said the "very intelligent" creatures enjoy pretending to go rat-a-tat-tat with panpipes, flutes, tubas, trombones, banjos and even saxophones.
Single Ellen, from Roosendaal, Holland, said her beloved pets — who cannot actually play the instruments — are "really talented actors".
She said: ''They know exactly how to pose and both are really talented actors we have a really good understanding. They always know what I am saying.''



Country rock ... ratty plays the banjo


Pied piper ... rat plays the flute


Harmony ... rodent with his violin


Traditional ... rat play the accordian


Solo ... creature plays saxophone


Rocking ... rat-i-cal solo


Huff and puff ... pet blows a tune


Peace man ... strumming on a sitar


Classic ... rodent on the cello


Latin ... playing the panpipes



I think the fatty 'Peaceman' rat is my favorite.
