Default Chase-It pet toy - my dog loves it!

I just wanted to recommend a really cool dog / cat toy to you all. I saw this toy on a show on Animal Planet and I bought one for my dog. My dog totally loves it! Its awesome because the dog really gets a workout, and you can run it along the ground like an animal that the dog is chasing. You can send it all the way across the room with no effort, so the dog runs all over the place and gets their energy out. On the Animal Planet show, they said its important to let the dog 'win' and catch the toy sometimes so it stays fun. Its hilarious to watch and a lot of fun.

It looks like so, and here's the company's website: http://www.chaseitpettoys.com/

And here's a video of the toy in action:

It isn't all that expensive - I bought mine for $21 + shipping from here:

Its really well-constructed, and the pole is flexible so it won't break. You can also detach the toy from the holder if you want, and buy replacement toys if it gets beat up.

It's probably just as much fun for the owner as it is for the dog. My dog would refuse to let go of the toy, and try to swing with it.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

I made something similar for my cat and he totally loves it, but it takes some
manipulation to get him to let go once he grabs it...

It really is! And I do wind up playing a sort of tug of war with my dog too. But I've taught her the command 'leave it' to drop whatever she has in her mouth, so I'll use that so I can get her running again.
