I really don't like abortion, especially since I have kids of my own, but the reality is that sometimes they are necessary. Abortion is sad, but so are unwanted, abused, neglected children. To me, abortion is the lesser of two evils in some situations.
However, I absolutely do not support later term abortions. They should be performed within the first 12 weeks (first trimester) before too much development has taken place, unless it's a life or death situation. I will never understand how a woman can abort her child at 20 weeks along as she is feeling definite movement by then, and the baby is able to hear and respond to outside stimuli.
