And eventually they are more than likely to have children of their own and so the cycle continues.........

I agree, Grim.

I really don't like abortion, especially since I have kids of my own, but the reality is that sometimes they are necessary. Abortion is sad, but so are unwanted, abused, neglected children. To me, abortion is the lesser of two evils in some situations.

However, I absolutely do not support later term abortions. They should be performed within the first 12 weeks (first trimester) before too much development has taken place, unless it's a life or death situation. I will never understand how a woman can abort her child at 20 weeks along as she is feeling definite movement by then, and the baby is able to hear and respond to outside stimuli.

^^^
there are a lot of tests you can't have done until later in a pregnancy and sometimes late abortions are necessary if the foetus tests positive for something.

Yeah, that's a bit different. I was referring more to women who wait that long simply because it took them a while to make up their minds.

This story is mild compared to some. I saw a news show that profiled a woman who adopted two beautiful little blond girls from Russia. Like this story, it was a nightmare. They also had RAD. When they were babies in the Russian orphanage they were rarely held. They may also have had a drug addicted mother. Stealing, killing family pets, destruction are all characteristics of RAD children. They're never able to bond. Most of them are sociopathic, ending up on drugs or in jail like their parents.
