My 16 year old daughter and I were watching it last night and cracking up. After the one with the 15 month old said that she wanted to have a girl so she could be in pageants, my daughter thanked me for being her mother.

That mom with the bizarre facial expressions was hilarious. And the dad, and the red-headed puppet--so deliciously weird.

Sometimes the girls themselves are rather sweet and you wish they could just have normal childhoods. My daughter wonders how many of them will grow up and be on Teen Mom someday.

Whoever does the video editing on that show is a genius. Some mom will say that the daughter really loves some aspect of pageants and they cut to the kid having a total screaming meltdown. Some pageant director will say that something is really big in that particular pageant and at the same time some enormous woman flashes on screen with her sparkly offspring. It happens too often to be coincidence.

It is truly awesome: "Do you cry at pageants?" toddler responds in a whisper "I'm never bad at pageants". *cue screaming meltdown*

Poor little Sami Jo .. Her mother walking out and saying "she was awful!". what a cunt!

and the one last week who told her daughter just before she was to go on stage that her ears were sticking out and it made her look like Dumbo. Not only crushing the girl's self esteem, but with such perfect timing.

My fave episode was the one with the Sterling twins. Damn I wanted to beat that woman to a pulp.

I'm new to this drama. I can't believe these poor kids. The parents are nuts.

I absolutely hate the parents of those poor babies the most. Especially SamiJo's mother, who made me want to throw things at the tv.

She should be a natural at that. Wonder if the false eyelashes will interfere with that??
