I had to skip this shit b/c I thought it would air at the same time as Dallas, but I'm going to try and catch it. I'm already embarrassed for them, but is it so cringy that I'm going to have to change the channel?

It was kinda cringy. Lots of talk about passing wind and stuff like that. I just wouldn't want to sit next to these people in a restaurant or an airplane, they're the kind of people who excuse incredibly bad manners with "I don't care wut you think of me, ah gotta be maself no matter how gross it is!"

Gross, put it away. You could dress beautifully but you gotta be Miss Granny Panty Whore.

But they weren't the grossest people at the Redneck Games

OMG - this is a train wreck. I was only able to catch the first episode. It was entertaining, but I think it is going to get old real fast.

I don't know how staged this show is, but I really had a problem with the part with the etiquette lessons. I get it, y'all are proud of being belching slobs, but HBBC and her sister were so rude to the instructor. It's one thing how you act around each other, it's another thing to be that disrespectful to someone you've invited into your home to teach you something.

I hate that these people are (of course) from the south. Why can't they be from somewhere surprising? I swear we are not all like this.

"This is Suga Bear and he's ma baby daddy". My gosh they're trash. And the mom had the audacity to criticize fat people at the Redneck games and how they dress.

I think of them more as hillbillies (which can be found anywhere) rather than Southern.

I'm almost ashamed to admit I can understand them all without the subtitles. But I promise you, this is not all (or even most) Southerners.

They live in Ga though, not the hills. (Don't they?)

Yeah, they live in mid-Georgia around Macon.

I didn't make it 5 minutes. They're too proud of being embarrassing.

I really did NOT want to watch this show, however, I have blown out my knee and am kind of on bedrest, so I am limited on activities, so figured I'd watch it.

Um, so many things just were....ugh. But one part made me laugh out loud, it was during the where mom talked about washing hair in the sink, and she said that she TEACHES HER DAUGHTERS TO TAKE PRIDE IN HOW THEY LOOK. Really??

Dear God I hope they don't put the new baby in the same playpen/crib that the pig is in right now.

Imagine how they'd look if they didn't have that pride!

I don't blame the South on this. They grow these people everywhere. We're all doomed.

card, hope your knee gets better soon. Getting hurt and then having to go through the ordeal of watching this is not a good combination......
