Not lack of knowledge, we're calling it how we see it.

Ok, pageants aren't really held in elementary school cafeterias. They're held in hotels. Other than that... oh hell, why am I even IN this thread...

If you have never been part of pageants, then you cannot truly "see it."

That's right, they're so much deeper and layered than dressing up your fake-baked flippered kid in tranny clothes, smearing their faces with clown makeup, and shoving them onto a stage to pout and wiggle for judges.
But hey, we can't "see it" for what it REALLY is....(which has never been actually described)

What is there to truly see?
Do you not dress the girls up in clothes meant for women? revealing and slutty clothes? do you not put piles of make up on? fake eyelashes? fake flipperS? fake hair? its all about winning and at the expense of the children.
Maybe your (granddaughter? is it?) is an except to this, but please dont try to deny that this is not what happens at every pageant.
Not to mention the judges are middle aged men...
We see it how it is shown

No she is not dressed in clothes meant for women, nor revealing, slutty clothing. No she does not wear piles of makeup, just stage makeup as in other stage type activities. Yes, she wears eyelashes, which she also wears for dance competitions. No she does not wear flippers or fake hair. And almost all of the judges are women with very few men judging.
Only thing correct in your post is that you see how it is shown. And what is shown are the extremes and the edited versions.
As for explaining further, please re-read the past 195 pages.
Finished.

Dropping thousands of dollars so that someone will let your kid dress up like a whore and parade around on a stage decorated with homemade cardboard and glitter stars in an elementary school cafeteria??? Not something I'd be bragging about. They're getting ripped off, big time, but they're so stupid and so obsessed with showing off that they don't even know it.
They think that paying people to indulge their delusional beliefs that their kid is a star makes them classy and special. The fact that they're a complete joke to the other 90% of the population is totally lost on them.

It's completely fucking mind boggling.
Friendorfoe, I used to do Showstoppers dance competitions and that was actual dancing but even that shit was totally over the top and insane. We were 10 and dressed like whores; just because we did it en pointe doesn't make it okay.

Difference between Pageant moms and Prison Groupies is that Prison Groupies are only hurting themselves. Pageant Moms hurt innocent kids.

Dance competitions are ten times worse than pageants for not being age appropriate. There is a big push right now to end that, and I hope it works. I have had to walk out during numbers at some of the big competitions that were just wrong.

I'm chuckling at the idea of it; I would like to see that as well.
