It astonishes me that these pageant moms are incapable of recognizing that the whole pageant circuit is a complete scam.
Dropping thousands of dollars so that someone will let your kid dress up like a whore and parade around on a stage decorated with homemade cardboard and glitter stars in an elementary school cafeteria??? Not something I'd be bragging about. They're getting ripped off, big time, but they're so stupid and so obsessed with showing off that they don't even know it.
They think that paying people to indulge their delusional beliefs that their kid is a star makes them classy and special. The fact that they're a complete joke to the other 90% of the population is totally lost on them.
