I kind of like Singapore's costume. It might be easy or cheap (cost-wise) but it's prettier than most of the others.

So, these are "National Costumes"? So, if I go to any of these countries, and these outfits are representative of what's worn there or what's traditional there, someone somewhere should be strolling down the street with one of these costume thingies on? People in Peru dress in Superman capes, Medusa headdresses and waders?

I agree. I happen to like Miss. Singapore's costume. It would look so much better without the petals.

And ohhh to Miss. Canada. She does resemble a tranny. However, a tranny would have more common sense than to wear that god awful outfit.

C'mon now, everyone knows the national costume of Ireland is an old tracksuit, a Guinness in one hand, and a snotty nose out of wedlock baby in the other....same as the American national costume, just sub a Pabst for the Guinness

US, Canada, and Ireland look utterly ridiculous. I mean, Ireland, how long did it take to think up and make that ensemble, like 10 minutes on the fly?

lol thats not really what its about though.. its just sometimes represent part of a country's heritage or culture..e.g. miss dominican republic dressed as a warrior from a folklore tale..they are not aimed to be typically representative of what a person there would wear.
yes some of these are cruddy but the whole point is that your costume has a story or a meaning.
