Good news for her! I broke my wrist about 30 years ago, and it's as steady as ever holding ANY kind of plate!

Probably took them that long to stop laughing at her and regain their composure before coming out with the verdict...

I hope the court case cost her a tonne of money as well. Time wasting biatch! I doubt she will get any party invites after this.

    She can. It's just "difficult".

    ..and freakin' hilarious.

I'm no lawyer, but I guess that the "losses" she has suffered are hors doeuvres that fell off the plate.

She says now that she was just trying to get her medical bills paid by the homeowner's insurance policy. She couldn't sue the insurance agency by law in CT.

So this is the sort of thing homeowner's insurance would cover? Jury clearly thinks not.

^^^ You'd be surprised at the plethora of ridiculous things that homeowner's insurance covers. (Source: many, many hours spent in a reddit legal sub)

Well - if I was unable to hold a plate that contained some good shrimp toast, I would sue too.
