Feeling all warm and fuzzy and safe about having my own baby in about a month or so....geez.

It just makes no sense at all...none.

If she gave birth by Caesarian, what may have happened is the doctor may have punctured her bowel, leading to blood poisoning, and a need for amputation. This happened to a lady in Manitoba or Saskatchewan a few years ago, when she was having her tubes tied. It was all over the papers.

^^ If that's similar to what happened with this woman, human error, no wonder they're giving her the run around. They're scrambling trying to cover their ass before she's able to sue the hospital for all they've got. This poor mom!

I bet you she got it from a doctor or a nurse or somebody else working at the hospital. I also bet the person reported the sickness to the hospital and they were made to work anyway. That's why the hospital dosen't want to say where it came from. I work in a hospital and this is my theory.

That might be what happened here. If it really was a flesh eating bacteria, it would have eaten her up faster than within 12 days, no? The articles says she had to stay longer for compliations so it sounds like something went wrong during delivery/birthing.
