I'm so tired of these losers blaming everyone else for their weaknesses. I'm also about as equally tired of every shortcoming being lableded a disease, as though it just fell out of the sky and landed on their head and there was nothing they could do about it. People want to be treated like adults and allowed to exercise adult freedoms but when they get in over their heads they want to be bailed out. It's a casino..........not an adult day care. Maybe she should just kill herself.
Oh............and it's useless and baseless to compare her situation to bars who cut off obviously inebriated people. First of all, her gambling is not going to cause a car accident that could get someone killed. Also, a bar may stop serving me if I am wasted and they also have the opportunity to call the cops on me if I am causing a disruption. However, I am welcome back when I can behave myself. Bars only ban people who have exhibited illegal behavior such as not paying a tab or being violent.

I think it ought to be federal law that if a customer asks a casino to ban them on the basis that they have a gambling addiction, the casino should obey their wishes. But that'll never happen; nobody cares about gambling addicts. They think they bring their problems on themselves. It's a disease. I hope she wins.

Read the complete article. It states that clients can ban themselves and then the casinos can not promote to them.

Wait.
WHAT?
Wasn't there some crazy suit against Breyers or something for making a family fat?
I know there was one against McDonalds for the same thing.
Unless someone put a gun to her head and forced her to gamble to become addicted to it no one but her brought this upon herself.

Okay... I guess you could apply the same logic that is used to prosecute and fine drinking establishments and servers who overserve?
