Oh phew. I feel silly now for believing that for a second Really though, it may not be the end of the world quite yet but there has been a lot happening recently and it's unnerving. The death toll is going to be huge for this quake We used to have homestays from Japan, I hope they're all okay. I just read a nuclear powerplant exploded earlier.

Fukushima 1 just exploded. Holy fuck. That's only 240 km from Tokio. It gets real ugly now.

That's the one. Something like 50,000 people have been evacuated from within a 50km radius. People warned not to go outside and if you absolutely have to then have no exposed skin and breathe through a damp towel. So terrifying.

Déjà vu. Tchernobyl 1986. The day I became an anti-nuclear activist. Half of Russia and Europe was contaminated with Caesium back then.
