That's great news Chilly.
The pics of the tsunami carrying debri and fire are so frightening.
We reached almost all the friends and family members in Tokyo. Emails take a while, but they do get through. Thank God.

Just hit Oregon. No details yet. Does not sound major on our west coast. Yet.

This is so fucking scary...I just want to stick my head in the sand and pretend its not happening.
Thank God your In Laws are ok Chilly! And I sincerely hope everyone else's friends and family are all ok too.
West Coasters----be safe!

Sending good thoughts to those affected or in the path of the Tsunamis.
The footage is beyond scary and overwhelming- there is reports that a cruise ship/passenger train have gone missing and swept away. And those reactors on fire look very scary especially the one where they have evacuated people- last report said the cooling water levels have dipped at dangerous levels.
Mother nature can be frightening. None of us have any control over what happens, that's the scariest thing.
I hope this situation doesn't get any worse. Thinking of everyone caught up in it. And feeling very lucky to live where I do.
Seven foot waves hit Crescent City, CA. The sheriff's warning system called us this morning. We are up 250 feet though. Watching the local news, idiots are walking dogs on the beach.
My heart goes out to everybody that has been affected by this horrible event. The EQ was bad enough, but that tsunami that came along behind it was unbelievably horrific
I worry about those nuclear plants too - I hope they stay safe and sound...![]()
