Damn, 200-300 bodies were found in a city on the NE coast of Japan.

Tsunami waves are starting to hit Hawaii. A 6-foot wave is heading towards Kahului.

My prayers and condolences go out to people in Japan, and the rest of the Pacific Rim that is being affected by this.

Where and when is this wave to hit on the California coast? Prayers go out to all our California GR'rs. Stay safe!

Seems like an earthquake one place triggers more.
That was really strong, I hope the death toll stays as low as they are saying. That is bad enough.

This is freaky. Last night around 10pm I was reading an article about the expectations of earthquakes and floods around 3/1 due to the Super Moon that we will experience.

Then I watched 30 Rock and it is the 2nd time they showed the episode of them filming a telethon in advance, where they would cover all possible disasters. The goal was to be able to put their telethon on the air before any other network. The last time it aired, there were massive floods and an earthquake the next day. Now they showed it last night and less than 3 hours later this happened! I blame 30 Rock!!

Seriously though, the footage is overwhelming to watch. My prayers go out to all in the area.

This is so bad. I read about the supermoon, too and scientist did say it had a small effect. This does not seem small!
I cannot help but think of those mothers and their cherished children, Lord have mercy. Please let this turn out better than it looks.

OMG! That footage. What a monster-how fast! They were saying the water hits at 600mph.

This is just so scary. I can't get over how destructive this is.

And eerily enough, I had a mega-tidal wave dream on Monday. *twilight zone music*

Uh oh. Friend is being herded into a city hall in French Polynesia.. it's only 2 stories high but it's the tallest they have.. and the island is only 2 meters above sea level. This could get dicey.

Yes, the news/weather people were saying that some of the smaller low-lying islands are in danger of being washed away.

Those poor people. I hope they stay safe.

So it sounds like things should be okay here in the states. Hawaii seemed to get through it pretty well.

Praying for everyone else in Japan, and around the world, that are dealing with this devestating event right now.

Praying for the best for all in this path and for the people already affected. Horrible.
