From the beginning I knew the mother was lying. She was probably so shocked that he reacted to swat him on the behind on impulse, that she took it all out of proportion. The kid must have gotten a bloody nose from all that running around and struggling.

Dude if you're a parent and you can't control your kids, to where you have to chase them down in a public place, play tug of war, and the kid is hitting strangers, don't take them out, simple.

And I know some people here have children and might say "oh you don't understand", but I do. My mom would beat my ass in public even if she had to, so of course I'd behave.

Yeah, I also understand what a pain in the ass it can be to try to get anything done with kids in tow...........that's why I opted out of having any. I'm sure it's aaaall woooorth it though, lol

I'm so fucking glad they had video surveillance. From the get-go I had the feeling that this dumb bitch was lying. They should charge her for false reporting and she should be sued for defamation of character. What makes me mad is how easy it is to get a lynch mob on board following a story like this where everyone wants to protect the poor child and just automatically believes what the mom says.

I remember well from being a child myself how awful children are. I was awful myself. That's why I don't get all this crap about how precious and innocent they are. They're human, and they're just as shitty as adults. Back in my day, adults didn't pretend kids were super-fabulous. They admitted they were little shits. Why have things changed so radically?
