2002/2003 or around that time. It hasn't been long at all. That was the makeover she got when she reappeared on the market.

This thread is raising my blood pressure. I am...er I was....Strawberry Shortcake's biggest fan. I still have all the original dolls, not in perfect shape but with all their pets and shoes and accessories. I have them tucked away in a box and still look at them sometimes. I was completely obsessed with this doll and her friends. I still remember when my dad told me that Strawberry Shortcake would not be around forever, that toys are only made for so long before something new comes along. He crushed my world with that lesson!!!

Well now she is back, but she sucks. I won't even acknowledge that generic, suggestive looking-over-the-shoulder doll as Strawberry Shortcake. She can go to hell! Stupid marketing people and their stupid ideas.
