Teachers are role models, like it or not. She teaches in a high school around horny, hormonal teenage boys, for heaven's sake. If all of her kids knew about this, good luck on the classroom management! Some districts put morality clauses in contracts- if you get a dwi or arrested for drugs you can be dismissed. While she isn't doing anything illegal, it just isn't smart and it leaves the district open to criticism from parents and the community. I know quite a few teachers who have worked a second job at Walmart or Cracker Barrel to support their kids.

Based on the poses, she looks like she would quite enjoy flitting around in a bikini.

In most of the pictures, one of her boobs looks bigger than the other. I'd say she's a butter face, but her body would have to look better. (Not that it's bad for having three kids.)

I don't think teachers should be held to higher standards than parents are. If you wouldn't take a kid away from his mom because she is a stripper then it isn't right to tell a woman she isn't fit to teach school because she gets partially naked for money. We don't take kids away from parents who get DUIs so we shouldn't say a teacher is unfit to teach in the classroom because they got a DUI on their own time (there was another story where that happened). Parents are supposed to be even bigger role models for kids than teachers are supposed to be and look at how many of them conduct themselves.

Being fired for gross absences is one thing but since when did we become such nosy prudes? If she does what is expected of her when she is teaching I don't see what the problem is - she's a bikini hostess on her own time not a hooker.

I've seen mother's hosting their kid's birthday party wearing less of a bikini at the pool or beach.

Like teenage boys are already oggling over her boobs in class - does it really matter if they know what she does on her own time?

The truth is many teachers gang up together within their cluck cluck groups and if you don't fit their norm they will do whatever it takes to get rid of you and wearing tight clothes, short skirt and GASP a bikini on a boat (heaven forbid) isn't appropriate prissy behavior. I am NOT saying all teachers are like this but many of them are and their grade school behavior ruins the environment for everyone.

That's so illogical. They aren't her kids. They weren't taken away from her. And she's supposedly a tax payer supported professional aka teacher. A teacher has to uphold a certain level of decency, and she didn't, but it doesn't matter because she was obviously not able to balance the beer prancing slut gig without it affecting her job so there's no need to even surmise whether it was right or wrong.

And you think that is logical???? Parents are the most important factor in any child's life and development and they should be scrutinized or penalized less than someone who sees their kid 1 hour a day? Not to mention that the teacher didn't wear the fucking bikini to work.

No other person, paid/unpaid, professional or non-professional, should be expected to set a better example for your kids than you do.

Logical? To be a parent and a stripper? No I personally do not think that sets a great example. I don't have control over another parents proclivities. I pay the teachers wages. Most people would have a problem, or see a conflict of interest with what the teacher did. Your pitting one person's effect on her own children versus one person's effect on hoards of kids. Kids look up to teachers.

If it violated her contract I say fire her, if it didn't I'm not sure they have the right, but she's not coming to work so I don't think the job was her issue.

The teacher's salary may be paid by taxes but I think she pays taxes as well or is there a special "I'm a teacher and I've given up my rights to do what the fuck I want outside of working hours" exemption I didn't know about? At least she wasn't fucking her students.
Her absences really stood out to me; that sounds like a good reason to let someone go but at the same time she could have very good reasons why she missed so much.
Wearing a bikini and playing a hostess to fishing trips does not set a bad example; was she doing a 2nd job career day presentation for her students?
Any arguments for her being let go because of her job are absurd. Just stick with pointing out her excessive absences.
If people want to dictate what teachers can do in their free time then maybe you should send your children to a private catholic school.
