I am weak on this because I am compassionate, a mother, and hanging on by a thread. Not a thread of sanity, but of willingness to live. I wish the CTs were right, so that people didn't die in this. It behooves one to not react emotionally (yes, I know I need to learn that myself) to any situation that would give a political faction an upper hand. I repeat, I am NOT talking about Sandy Hook anymore. Conspiracy theorists. It's disturbing when others are so dismissive of the non-government-approved narrative that they don't even allow themselves to consider other possibilities. Damn scary, actually. Remember the official report on 9/11? Or am I peeing in the wind with this? Ever looked into Pearl Harbor? Hitler's Reichstag? This is why "conspiracy theorists" exist. A great deal of them are historians. While I'm here, I will comment on the Orwellian development of labeling people who discount the government/media's account of anything as being "Truthers." This is a purposeful exploitation of language. Does it strike no one else as absurd that we would mock someone for pursuing truth? Why is that to be immediately dismissed and looked down on? I am not a republican, or very conservative, so don't go there. I am socially liberal, registered democrat, and I don't know where critical thinking disappeared to (although I have several ideas). I have good reason to be frustrated.
You have not made any valid arguments in your condescending message. If you are hanging on by a thread, and have good reason to be frustrated, I suggest you stop engaging on a message board and instead focus on improving your life. Coming here and implying that others are not as intelligent as you perceived yourself to be, because they do not buy into insane conspiracy theories, is not in your best interest. Seriously, who the hell do you think you are to imply that anyone who does not buy into the bullshit has not pursued the truth? You really need to know your audience, and get based in reality, if you want any chance at living a normal life. And for the record, anyone can call themselves a historian, knowing that weak followers will believe them and accept what they say as fact. So yes, you are pissing in the wind and taking a crap all over this board.

Right. What is the purpose of faking a school shooting?

I wasn't trying to invalidate anybody's arguments as much as say that Alex has planted a seed and promulgated some theory for the connectedness of all horrible events in this world. And he makes a lot of money at it. A lot of what you see out there are postings by his acolytes.

Never heard of either. Thank you so much for bringing these little known events to our attention.

Your posts come across oddly, a mix of condescension and something I can't put my finger on. But you're here long enough to know that there are many well educated and extremely informed people here. You should try talking with us instead of at us. And drop the pseudo-intellectual pretenses.

I will never forget seeing that movie the first time, and watching it with my daughter and some of her friends for their first time.
