no that's not what I'm getting at. I'm definitely NOT endorsing the use of violence to kill abortionists.
I was just making an observation that if an abortionist is killed, it is true that many lives are possibly saved when it happens. But I'm not willing to take the stance that this fact makes it "okay" to murder doctors.

Rupert Murdoch (Fox)controls lots of newspapers and TV and radio station in several countries including the US, England and Australia. He is as right-wing as they come.

Irrelevant? Perhaps. But no more so than bringing in your own religious beliefs into this, since you are arguing for outlawing abortion by human laws rather than what you perceive as the laws of your 'God'.
Anti-abortionists who try to approach this by brandishing the mighty word of the Bible should perhaps consider moving to a Theocracy, where religion has relevance upon the human law.
The crux of this issue is the whole Human Life Or Clump of Cells debate. It's a legal, medical and ethical issue, but it's not a religious ones, so various religious quotes being thrown around have no more relevance than...oh, the stylings of Monty Python.

Yes, disabled children have as much a right to live as abled ones. Notice how no one is advocating throwing disabled children over a cliff, Spartan-style (and I'm not talking about not taking extraordinary measures to keep a child with a degenerative disease alive, but rather actively ending their life).
However, we are not talking children here, we are talking embryos and early-development fetuses. Legally and medically, they are not recognised as 'life'. You see them as life, aparently because the official stance of your religion seems to be such, we see them as a potential for life for sure, but cetainly not whose rights overrule those of people who are already born, conscious and (for the most part) thinking.
And also 'because the mother might be inconvenianced'? What an absurd simplification of the medical, emotional and financial issues involved. Not just for the mother, but for the human being that might come into a life of suffering.
