I give them a lot of respect for taking care of this child, and I do believe it's their right to do what is necessary to make things easier for them. They have enough problems as it is.

I find what the parents did rather repellent, but I don't know what I would do if I were in their situation. I know from friends' experiences that taking care of disabled or "special needs" kids can be a nightmare. One friend of mine has a 14 year old stepson, who has some physiological problems and basically functions on the level of an 8 year old. He's gone into seizures a couple of times and has 1)broken his stepsister's arm and 2) repeatedly slammed his young stepbrother's arm into a car door. He does these things and later has no memory of them and does not understand why he is being punished. He is probably going to end up in a group home. I don't want to judge these parents, because I don't know how I would handle their situation--just glad I don't have to!

Funny how there are so many meat sacks that don't fit in the "tard" category. Those are the ones who should be killed off, since they just take up space and do more harm than good to society.

Until you walk a mile in these people's shoes, who are we to judge. I completely support their decision.
