I can't tell you until you create a Facebook account and accumulate at least 400 friends. Otherwise, God only knows will you would do to the blabbermouth

Sorry, I only have a few friends, not 400. That makes me an asshole.

I have FB but there is no way in hell that I would let an employer know about it or have access. Not because it's full of 'Red Flags' but because I consider what I do in my own time to be my own business. They are entitled to know about what I'm up to during the hours they pay me for and nothing more.

This is the reason I haven't updated mine. I use it to see what my friends are doing and that's about it. I'm surprised at how many of my friends post stupid shit. Like one who posts their "check-in" status using their home address so it basically says "Lisa Smith is at the Smith house with two others" and the location as their actual address. Really???

I've seen job postings that ask for your resume, references, salary requirements and your facebook page. All before the interview process.

I'm waiting for the men in white coats to come and get me. I don't nor will I ever have a Facebook. I just tell folks I'm in witness protection.

Plenty of crazy people have Facebook, my brother does! And he posts every hour some religious manifestos and fights with people when they post scripture and tells them how they aren't "blessed" with the gift to understand the word of god like him. Every single update and comment is about Jesus. And you should see the people writing to him, clearly more crazy people thinking he is some special person chosen to lead others to god. FB and the Internet, perfect tools for helping crazy people find other crazy people. That's how he found his equally crazy wife- she was posting wacko religious videos on YouTube!

Facebook is bad for the crazies that join..... I had to block him and avoid interacting with him on FB. My husband defriended him because he couldn't take the 20 daily Jesus posts, worship YouTube videos and condescending comments about the bible.

Oh dear. I don't have a Facebook, either. Don't care for it, never had one and never will. I am not a sheep. I will not give in to peer pressure.

I've never been asked for my facebook by a potential employer, and I certainly hope it doesn't happen in the future.

Yoffee points out that these judgements don't apply to older people who were already productive adults before social media became widespread.
