Did you know that every time a parent gives in to their kid's whines and buys them candy at the checkout lane, a kitten gets diabetes?-Dlisted

I have to admit that I have always wanted to see that Contagion movie so I could watch Gwyneth Paltrow die. Does that make me a bad person?

ETA: I used to know a fair amount about the plague but haven't kept up with it lately. I imagine it existed in both forms, with the pneumonic form responsible for much of the speed at which it spread, but the bubonic form producing the more obvious and characteristic outward signs.

Well, it's late and I'm tired. I read this as "how 'bout the GARLICKY icky exploding pustule death?" Or, I'm hungry.

Oh it's braw, I'm going to watch it again with wee sis when she's home next weekend since she's a big science nerd. She wants to be a forensic anthropologist, so she'd be the one digging up and piecing together the old skeletons.
