That's as plausible as anything else out there.

With all the different reports, I've been confused about where we are this, but I read this this morning. It's a time chronology pieced together by CNN and it appears to just be the facts. It's long so i'll just post the link.

I just hope that all the spying and information gathering the US does will pay off somehow in helping to locate the plane.

I have seen reports that it might have flown very low to avoid radar. If so, someone must have noticed a big-ass plane flying low. I know it could have done this over remote, sparsely populated areas, but still. Someone, somewhere, knows something. I'm surprised huge rewards haven't been offered. Though I suspect there's a lot going on that we don't know about. Who knows, maybe Malaysia, China, and/or the US are torturing someone even as we speak.

They haven't found Amelia Earhart or the 727 from 2003 either. The earth is a big place.

Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 found by Courtney Love? Singer thinks she’s located plane’s wreckage in satellite image | National Post

Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 found by Courtney Love? Singer thinks she’s located plane’s wreckage in satellite image

Singer Courtney Love has thrown her hat into the search party for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, and she’s made some serious headway – as far as she’s concerned, anyway.

Early Monday morning, Love posted a screengrab from the satellite imaging site Tomnod, with Photoshopped arrows pointing to an area of blue ocean that Love believes is the site of the missing carrier. We know this because the arrows point to an area that Love has labelled “plane?”

A second set of arrows point to an area of blue dots in the deep blue ocean, which Love believes may be an “oil.”

“I’m no expert but up close this does look like a plane and an oil slick,” Love posted on Facebook, alongside a screengrab from Tomnod apparently taken on March 12. The area Love has focused on is, according to the singer, “like a mile away (from) Pulau Perak, where they ‘last’ tracked it … but what do I know?”

Officials have thusfar been unable to locate flight MH370, which went missing on March 7, and theories surrounding its disappearance have ranged from catastrophe to hijacking.

Love isn’t the first non-official to try her hand at locating the plane: Earth imagery company DigitalGlobe, which operates Tomnod, trained its satellites on the Gulf of Thailand last week, and within 24 hours the site crashed as user demand – and enthusiasm to join the hunt – skyrocketed.

You know things are bad when Courtney Love's theories are as good as anybody else's.

I was chatting with my hot boss about this today. His theory, the plane never even took off. I thought, wth not? It's just as strange as everything else here.

The family of the guy from here has switched from grieving to just sure he is alive somewhere. Imagine all those families thinking the same.
This is going to be really bad. As if it wasn't already.
