It is a cool job. Its also how my husband lost his first wife. After graduation they got married, he went on to grad school, she went to an archaelogical site in South America, got involved with some dude there, and called back and asked for a divorce. They were married just a bit less than a year.

My friend just returned back from the followup trip to the believed crash sit and posted on her facebook this morning:
'I'm under confidentiality agreement for expedition results but news is set to air on a Discovery Channel show August 19th'.
So, for anyone interested, August 19th there will be some results of some kind

I believe that is in reference to the fact that they didn't find the plane, as they had hoped. New promises that they may have found the plane itself brought in a lot of their recent funding, so I think the fact that they DIDN'T find it may have been a bit of a letdown to their investors.
