No, they were feeling threatened because terrorists always announce their intentions on t-shirts.

OK, so they're idiots. But as a person who is aware there are a lot of nervous and irrational people flying these days, I would never wear a t-shirt like that on an airplane.

Well he does look a bit intimidating with or without that terrifying teeshirt. Or maybe he was hoping to score a new teeshirt. If something like this makes neurotic flyers freak out maybe they should get a fucking grip or stay home.

There's always a chance any would-be victims would only have ended up mostly dead anyway. Miracle Max could have helped with that.

I'm trying to find a way to fit mawwaige into the conversation, but I'm stumped.

They obviously were.

T-shirts are like clowns, they scare the shit out of me. I'm suprised that there hasn't been a horror movie made about a scary slogan t-shirt that forces unsuspecting wearers to go insane and take down jetplanes. The end of the movie would reveal that the t-shirt was actually controlled by some creepy albino in desperate need of a strepsil. Sounds almost inconceivable!

Of course you're allowed an opinion. And I'm allowed to disagree with it. It's all part of the rough and tumble in the GR playpen.

Of course, solipsists think the world revolves around their ever so important sound bites, political quips and movie quotes and fuck the eighty year old woman who has never seen the movie who might have an anxiety issue, also fuck the airline attendants who must deal with nervous passengers, cause damn, it is so goddamned important to wear an obscure movie quote from the 80s, it's about censorship or being cool or whatever! LOL

Ridiculous. If it said 'Prepare to die' on it's own maybe I could understand. But as a whole quote it's just nitpicking. It clearly has absolutely no reference to being on a plane or anything terroristy (my new word). Blows my mind what people get antsy about these days. I'd hate to live my life being on edge over something that's never likely to happen to me. And if it does I'd have no control over anyway. What if I had a shirt that said 'Get a life'. That's good right? It's about living not dying, nevermind what it really means.

Censorship or "coolness" don't even enter into this. If some biddy freaks over the sight of a shirt, just explain the context to the old bat.

How the hell is one to anticipate every irrational fear out there?
