yes i mean individual stories.
I find the whole generation going painful.
My grandfather fought in Europe during the war, along with his brothers and all their contemporaries, a few of my grandparents friends had been survivors that came from Europe post war, and while none of these people 'made a big deal' of what they had been through they would answer our questions, and put a human face on these monumental things in our shared histories.
It's really hard watching them go. RIP Elie.
