That is so funny and yet so sad at the same time...

Thankfully I've never needed to know that.

Sounds like my Grandad. There are not many men at his retirement village so he always has lady friends around. He puts on the English charm, shows off photos of his great grandchild and takes them on dates to the Bingo hall.

I also understand the old dudes reaction but it's still quite sad. After all those years, you would think there would be some element of forgiveness (unless he has been searching for a good excuse to leave her!).

My elder,s girl,s first BF had a Pappy. He left his wife ,had dementia and they had to put him in a home.He insisted he left the wife because she was cheating on him.
He used to wander the halls and sleep at any old girl,s bed he could.
One night an old girl pushed him off.
    That is how he died.

I laughed. I suppose that means I'm evil. I must seek to come to terms with this.

I'm not evil! Phew. Besides, it is partly your fault for telling it in such a funny way.

Same Pappy called his daughter *unknown lady that lives in his house*and his Grandson *the man who fixes the plumbing*
They had to put him in a home because he ate one kilo of feta cheese and almost died.

Just a thought but if she cheated in the first 10 years of their marriage, is he now going to get the kids DNA tested???

They are that old and they only have 1 great grandchild? Am I the only one amazed by that? I would expect great great grandchildren, tons of them, by that age.
