This is the first picture of the little baby girl who was found abandoned outside a hospital accident and emergency department.
The fair-haired infant named Amy by nurses has already been placed in the care of a foster family while authorities are appealing for her parents to come forward.
The baby, aged between two and four months, was found in her pushchair in front of the accident and emergency department of Linconshire's Grantham Hospital on Saturday.

Authorities have appealed for the parents of this baby to come forward after she was abandoned outside a hospital
Authorities said it appeared the little girl had been previously well cared for and said her parents had nothing to fear by speaking to them.
Police released images of the baby and the clothes she was wearing and said they were concerned for the baby's mother.
She was wearing a pink fleece babygrow and was in a grey Mothercare pushchair when she was found.
Lincolnshire force spokesman James Newell said: 'The mother has gone through and is still going through a huge amount of emotional turmoil.
'What we want to get across to her is that we realise that - and that there is a large amount of help and support available to her.'
'It's more likely that (the mother) is a local woman who gave birth at Grantham Hospital, but we cannot rule out that she has come from further afield.
'We would appeal for information from anyone who was in the area at about 3pm on Saturday, and also to any taxi or bus drivers who may have given the baby's mother a lift.
'Our main priority at the moment is that we find out that the mother is safe and well and reunite her with her daughter.'

white, black, puerto rican/everybody just a freakin'/good times were rollin'.
it's awful but at least the mother realised she couldn't cope and took the baby to the hospital, instead of keeping her and potentially mistreating her or raising her in a bad environment.

YOu took the words out of my mouth, Sputnik. I'd rather the kid get a fair shake than be in a potentially bad situation.

I agree with Sputnik and Butt. The mother made the right choice.

I hope Mum comes forward and is helped
The mother took her to a safe place. She did the best she could-this is a beautiful baby! I think she should be left alone-she knows she could come forward and hasn't-babies are work. She may just be too young to cope. Some family will be delighted to take over.

Aw, what a cutie pie. Sad situation though. I hope it all works out ok.
OMG that little face!!! I just want to squeeze those cheeks! My god she's cute!!
But agree, she's better off.
She's adorable. I'm glad her mother loved her enough to take her to a hospital where she would be safe.
Poor little girl. The mother did the right thing though. I hope she has a happy life with people who love her.
Only the good die young.........................
bitches like me live forever!!!!!!!!!!!!
why the hell would they want to return the kid to someone who abandoned her in the first place?
Put it with a family that actually wants a kid
