Ok so no, I didn't, it was off the cuff.
But what the hell is a communicative job or position?

I don't know...radio talk show host, columnist, political activist..something in the mass media...something where you use your powers of communication and get paid. You are already blogging, right?..something to use communication skills to affect change while you get paid money for it. Is there such a job?..I don't know.

Re: 8 men found dead
Actually the health care system is better than the justice system.. However, the justice system is in the process of being overhauled to build more jails and hand out much stiffer sentences...

I love Grimm to death. He is one of my favorite posters, but just because someone disagrees with him or his ideas doesn't make them stupid or brainwashed. We are all entitled to our opinions and beliefs. I don't think that was very nice.....

If Chesticka Simpson cant figure this one out, I probably say shot to death?

Yeah, I think that's who she meant. "but just because someone disagrees with him doesn't make them stupid or brainwashed." I'm pretty sure the "them" is in reference to that "someone" who "disagrees" with you.

yes, she was referring to ME for goodness sake! Meanwhile, I hate the name I chose. "hello" is stupid. Can I change it? Will you still hate me like you do?

Re: 8 men found dead
Bandidos speak out on murders
Quote:
Their take: No coup, just an `act of madness'
Apr. 13, 2006. 05:37 AM
BETSY POWELL
CRIME REPORTER
Solemnly he talked of widows, lost friends and funerals.
While two played pool in a downtown roadhouse, the third surviving Bandido confided they're still in shock after their eight "brothers" were murdered last weekend.
"We'll do the best we can do to bury our brothers and get them all put away properly," he said, sitting on a bar stool beside a large glass of water.
Later, he opened up: "There's been a lot of tears shed over these guys, a lot of good people went, right? I can't speak for everybody but I've just been too numb. I'm sure once everything's over and things settle down then the reality of it will kick in a little more."
It was the first time current, full-patch members of the Toronto Bandidos' No Surrender Crew have spoken out, albeit with reluctance and a palpable sense of uneasiness about dealing with the media. They agreed to talk only on the condition their names not be used.
The mood was tense, the Bandidos stone-faced and businesslike.
"I'm not shook up, I'm angry," said one, putting down his cue for a moment. The three Bandidos said their eight comrades were slain in what they believe was an "isolated act of madness," and not the result of a larger "conspiracy" or "coup."
"We want to set the record straight to the best of our ability," said one of the trio, acting as a spokesman for the remaining members. He declined to say how many Bandidos were left in the Toronto area, although the assumption is there are fewer than a dozen.
The three Bandidos, wearing black T-shirts bearing the Texas-based club's red and gold logo, a paunchy, pistol-packing, sombrero-wearing Mexican bandido, acknowledged they were "on edge and disturbed" when they agreed to meet a reporter just before midnight at a quiet haunt of their choosing.
They're also still reeling from the shock and now, in the midst of mourning, preoccupied with how to bury their fallen comrades.
While one funeral was held yesterday in Montreal, the spokesman was unsure about other arrangements. Autopsies were to have been concluded yesterday, but it may be a day or two before the bodies are released to the families, Dr. David Evans, regional coroner for Toronto West, said yesterday.
"We want to do our best to bury our brothers and get them all put away properly," said the spokesman.
With that, he opened a notepad and ripped out a two-page, handwritten note, a message to "the world" about the killings.
"No words will ever be able to accuretely (sic) describe our emotions at this time," begins the statement, printed in neat capital letters. "The loss of eight brothers is a shock to us all. We all will maintain and carry on like the way we know they would have wanted us too (sic). Times are tuff (sic) and we who are left standing are fuelled with rage and sorrow."
They wanted to release "the message" because they felt the deceased had been maligned in news reports.
"Nobody knew our brothers as we did, and to depict them in the media as anything other than the victims of a senseless and brutal crime is insensitive and inhumane."
They've taken offence at some of the media coverage, including photographs of one of their slain colleagues lying in the trunk of a car.
The eight men — Bandidos' leader John Muscedere, 48; George Jesso, 52; George Kriarakis, 28; Luis Manny Raposo, 41; Franco Salerno, 43; Paul Sinopoli, 30; Bandido prospect Jamie Flanz, 37; and associate Michael Trotta, 31, were all fathers, sons, "and most of all brothers, who, contrary to media reports, were truly motorcycle enthusiasts who paid the ultimate price for their passion to ride free side by each."
Salerno, for instance, was a new dad. "They were good fathers, excellent fathers," said the touque-wearing Bandido.
The statement, written in ink, concludes: "Rest in peace brothers, You truly are free to ride on in the forever chapter in the sky. You will always be loved and never forgotten." It is signed "your brothers, No Surrender Crew Canada. Love, loyalty, respect."
The Bandidos, who appear to be in their late 20s or 30s, said they had no inkling something horrific was looming before last weekend's massacre in southwestern Ontario, though one of their own, Wayne Kellestine, 56, a full-patch member, has been charged with eight counts of first-degree murder. Four non-members of the gang were also charged in the shotgun slayings.
The Bandidos made it clear, politely, that they would not answer questions about the origins of their group, relations with the American heads of the organization, or the Hells Angels, usually described as their "archrivals."
Nor would they comment on Kellestine's arrest.
"It's before the courts and we have no comment. We'll let the courts decide," said the designated spokesman.
"Whoever was there knew the truth and, obviously, they're either dead or implicated in the crime ... but there's no bigger or greater conspiracy that we know of, (and) anything that anybody says about this is speculating," the spokesman said — including a Star report that a cocaine ripoff was involved, or the other theories floating around.
"We deny any reports of Bandido (gang) involvement," said the spokesman. And the police suggestion that it was "internal cleansing" is pure speculation, the three men added.
With the message delivered and the clock closing in on midnight, the man in the touque indicated it was "time to leave."
"We don't know what the future is going to have in store for us," he said.
The Bandidos have established a bank account to collect donations for the surviving children and widows. It is at the RBC 003, transit number 03592, account number 5103965.

Re: 8 men found dead
I AM SO SORRY to all, I totally was an arse and was rude.
Hello (and can I say, a name change will help???) I apologize for being insensitive and jerkish. My father passed away on 3/30, and I've been drinking vodka since then, and that's my excuse, but it's not really a good excuse.
I just wanted to say that I think it's easier for someone (in the US) who is religious, and backed by the 99% who also believe, to speak out. Others tend to get censored, self or otherwise. Please disregard my stupid post, and I'll be more sensitive and more properly argumentative elsewhere.
And by the way, the Canadian healthcare system CAN NOT POSSIBLY be worse than the legal system. Three months to evaluate your blindness? To check out a possible tumor? Ugh!
