Gah, I saw something about this family last year when she'd given birth to her 15th child. I really think that she has to have some mental illness that makes her NEED to have children. She's 39 years old and has been pregnant almost non-stop since she was 21.
It's not like as if there's a danger of underpopulation.
Man, I got a lot of people pissed off at me at another site when I said how wrong I thought this was when it was #15. But I don't care. I think there's something wrong with this.

Yeah they were on either TLC or Discovery Health. I remember she was pregnant with the 15th child. How much time does she give between these pregnancies? I can not imagine grocery shopping. I have to admit when I watched the show I was very impressed with how they run the household. Very very orderly, amazing

I've known families where there were 16 and 17 siblings - I think it works for some people (ok few people and usually of Catholic or Mormon faith).
Unless she lives past 75 her body will never recover from the pregnancies.
But if it works for them and the state isn't paying to feed or house them I don't care.
