This probably won't mean much to non-Aussies, but Australia's wealthiest man, media baron Kerry Packer, died today aged 68. His son and heir James is set to take over the empire and, gues what? Jamie is a Scientologist - eeeeek!
The first I heard of Packer was from a young Aussie dude who
complained that Packer "had more money than God" and just
was basically "in it for himself" and "didn't give a crap about
anybody else." I think Packer must own some major food chain
that engages in unfair business practices, is that right?
