Edit & Update - The coroner has ordered the husband's arrest. Let's see how long it takes to get him extradited from the US to face the music here.

This is one of those "he did it,but it will be hard to prove" cases. It still going to be kind of hard-but after seeing a documentary on this, there is just no doubt. He has told too many lies. He did it-I just hope a jury agrees.

Let me tell you guys, this *person* had a Rescue Diver Certification from PADI. I just completed this course. This type of senario he concocted is one of the tests you have to pass to get your c card. You DO NOT go up to get help leaving her to drown. Furthermore the BS of he couldn't swim her up is ridiculous. All he had to do was drop her weight belt and she would be neutrally/positivelly bouyant (ie would float). The victim had just passed her basic certification and it was one of her first dives. I think he got her certified as part of a plan to kill her.
What a dumbass. He's a certified rescue diver and kills her in this manner?? There are a lot of other ways she could've died without it looking totally obvious that he did it. For that reason alone, he needs the death penalty.

I'm a certified open water diver and I know all he had to do was inflate her BC (buoyancy compensator) and she would have shot to the surface. She more than likely would have a case of the bends but that could be treated secondarily. Very obvious to me that he killed her.
