Rumors of why Natalee Holloway is missing

Forensic experts are investigating a letter reportedly written by Natalee Holloway from a secret hiding place, confessing that she ran off in Aruba out of shame that she was PREGNANT.

The letter was turned over just weeks ago to Aruban police and was immediately sent to Holland, the island's mother country, for scientific testing to determine if it is a breakthrough clue in the seven-month-old case of the missing 18-year-old from Alabama.

"In the letter, Natalee tells her mom that she's sorry for all the pain she's caused her family," said a source close to the investigation. "She said that she was already pregnant when she got to Aruba and that she was too embarrassed to tell anyone. Natalee said she decided she had to run away to have the child because she didn't think anyone back home would understand her



but it's from the National Enquirer — how true can it be?

Wow, well you never know with the National Enquirer. Hasn't Beth Holloway kind of been in contact with the National Enquirer because she doesn't want America to forget about her daughter? She talks to every media outlet, but until it's been confirmed on Greta, I dunno.

Yeah, we've said at my job that she was sold into white slavery too. There are no clues to show she's dead or alive so who knows. There was some voicemessage also back in October that they think may have come from Natalee that was left on Beth's recorder. Don't know what happened with it.

you wish to call it. She could be off the island within an hour
of being kidnapped, if that's what happened.

i think they were patsy's.. Maybe got her drunk up so they can have a go at her and someone broke up the party.. or maybe she ran from them and seeked help from the wrong stranger.

i think it's a bit much.. Were talking a 18 year old from Alabama who maybe had no "street smarts" and wandered off or was to trusting.. Personally any foreign place, i aint going alone nore would i split up from whoever i went with.. My god living in America is scary enough.. Some people loose all common sense when they go on vacation and forget not every place is a wonderland.. theres shit lurking on every corner even in the most picture perfect place.

If I were her mother she would've never gone on that trip. I wouldn't even let a college-aged child of mine go to Florida for spring break with just a bunch of friends and a few "adult" chaperones. It's just asking for trouble. The only way any teenager of mine is going to a foreign country is if it is a family trip to Club Med or a school sponsored trip where the parents go too.

For our senior year Spring Break, a bunch of my friends and I did a mother-daughter trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was a fun and safe vacation for everyone. It's kind of a tradition in our school. It's not school sponsored, but the senior girls plan it together every year. I would never allow my child to go to Aruba with a large group of teenage girls and minimal chaperones. I also continue to be astounded when the media constantly reminds everyone of what a "smart" girl Natalee was. Drunk or not, I would NEVER do something so careless and dangerous as voluntarily separating from my friends and leaving a club, alone, in a foreign country with 3 strangers. I also can't believe her friends allowed it. The whole situation is just a result of immature teenagers being stupid and irresponsible.

I stumbled onto a Natalee forum sometime ago, which I cannot find again, that had all of the principals arguing on it. All of the players and their buddies were accusing back and forth and blaming one another. It just makes me wonder how much there is that we don't know. I mean, what's to argue about if the facts are as simple as we are lead to believe?

like i had said on page 1 probably book smart but lacked common sense and was to trusting or maybe sje just wanted to have a good time... i mean not knowing much about Alabama maybe she wanted a fun memory before she went back but it turned out the wrong way
