Alvin man indicted over infant son's death
GALVESTON, Texas — A man accused of killing his baby, whose body and car seat were found along a Galveston road, has been indicted on a capital murder charge.
A Galveston County grand jury Tuesday indicted Travis Mullis of Alvin.
The body of 3-month-old Alijah Mullis was discovered Jan. 29 by some people passing by.
An autopsy determined the boy died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Mullis later surrendered in Philadelphia, allegedly telling police he stomped on the baby because the boy kept crying.
Prosecutors are considering whether to seek the death penalty.
Caren Kohberger has been charged with child endangerment for allowing her son to be taken by his father, hours after the couple argued. Kohberger was arrested this month as she checked out of Bellevue Hospital in New York City.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people. Why kill an innocent little baby. I hope he rots in hell. And why are they charging the mother, did she have previous knowledge that he would harm their child...

I think they are charging the mother because they are saying that the actual crime took place at the home and that the mother knew about it. Then, the scum bag takes off with the baby, tosses the already dead baby out of the car (possibly with help). Then, later in the day, mom starts calling hospitals and police stations "looking" for the baby and the dad. Said she was worried because they didn't take enough food to be gone that long. That was the original story.

Would an abortion before the baby got started been so wrong? God help us if we ever force people to give birth. This is how a "wanted" infant gets treated??

Why stomp on a baby if it won't stop crying? Why not leave the room or building to stop hearing it? The kid won't choke alone on its tears, and it certainly won't die just because you are standing on the other side of a door from it. You could even watch it from the window and not have to hear it screaming.

This has already been posted. They are also planning on charging or already have charged the mother for putting the infant in this guy's care.
Also the baby was not thrown from a car; Mr. Mullis says he stomped on the infant's head until he felt it collapse; the only way to make the crying stop.
