Two teens were charged in a murder for hire plot

Two teenagers are accused in a plot to hire someone to kill one of their parents. An inmate in the Clay County jail told police that he and another man were contacted to murder Jacob Jett's parents at their Independence home. Jett and Joseph Garcia provided the two men with $260 in cash, a debit card with the PIN, two .22-caliber pistols and a .38-caliber pistol and the alarm code on the intended victims' house.

I can't see the article-can you fix it? Yea! You did it!!

Why?? Look at the lives these two ruined! They might deserve it, but no one else had a say in this!

Me and Garcia went to the same school, but I don't *know* him know him. I've had several classes with Jett, however, in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. He was a good student, he was smart, well spoken, funny... And now he's ruined his life because he had to be greedy. Apparently, the motive was something to do with an inheretance. He's definetly not getting his share, now.

*shakes head* You just really never know with people, anymore.

I bet there is more to the story. Maybe his parents were assholes?

^ I'd have no idea, I never have seen his parents. You just never know with kids today, because they seem like they're willing to shoot anyone over anything. :/

He might be a sociopath who just doesn't care for anything but money. Good thing he'll be off the streets.

I refuse to assume anymore that kids won't be greedy, selfish little asshole unless their parents were demons. I hope the brat gets assraped 20 ways from Sunday. Even if his parents were assholes it doesn't entitle him to one red cent of their money because he never earned it.

Why can't kids just stay in school, get a job, work hard for several years and earn their own money?

Those parents didn't owe these brats jack shit, assuming they'd already 'done their time' with raising them for 18 years. My dad's father was doing hard labor at the same age my son is now (9) just so everyone in the family would be able to eat one decent meal a day.

I'm getting round to the mind that all kids should be required to be booted out of the nest by 18 to fend for themselves. If they're smart enough to get in college there's an option. The military would be another. And if not those then there's tons of fry cook jobs out there just waiting to be had.

I actually saw this story on Nancy Grace, tonight. I can't believe this is getting national attention.
