KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Officials issued an Amber Alertfor 3-year-old Seth Guerrero on Sunday evening. Seth's mother and infant sister were found shot to death at 2043 S. 10th Terrace around 11 a.m. Sunday.

Seth is Hispanic with brown hair and brown eyes, three feet tall and weighs 45 pounds.

Investigators are looking for Seth's father, Andrew Anthony Guerrero, as a person of interest in the case. Guerrero, 23, has brown hair and brown eyes, weighs 170 pounds and stands 5'9."

The Amber Alert Web site says that Guerrero may be heading for Mexico, and it's possible that he is armed and dangerous. Guerrero is not the father of the infant.

Investigators are looking for a silver 2004 Nissan truck with license plate 503 AEA. On Sunday evening, officers located a silver 2004 Saturn SUV at 6th and Rosedale.

Relatives said they hadn't been able to reach Seth's mother for about a day. When the children's grandmother went to check on the family, she discovered the crime scene.

Neighbors of the older victim said she was in her 20s, worked at the library and had lived in the KCK home for two years.

UPDATE: A myspace.com profile with a picture of Seth showed a quote that reads "this is the day that I die. farewell." The profile shows the user last logged into the site on Saturday, Feb. 2.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A man sought in the slaying of a Kansas City, Kan., woman and her infant daughter has been arrested at a North Texas motel.

Meanwhile, a 3-year-old boy who had been the subject of an overnight Amber Alert was found safe Monday. Police thought Seth Guerrero is the son of the target of their manhunt, 23-year-old Andrew Anthony Guerrero.

The elder Guerrero was arrested and the boy was found safe about 8:30 a.m. at a Motel 6 near Interstate 35 in Denton, about 35 miles northwest of Dallas. Police said a truck matching the description of Guerrero's was reported at the motel at 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

Police staked out the scene all night until the man emerged from his room.

I was just about to post that... So happy the little boy was found safe. His mother and sister DID NOT deserve to be killed, and he didn't deserve to be kidnapped like that. I hope the man get's fucked up, in prison.
