I'm wondering, now that it's going international, if 100% of the profits will be heading to the animals..(KP International) Steve Irwin's daughter, Bindi, is set to internationally launch her own line of children's clothing, Bindi Wear International.
"My Daddy was working to change the world, so everyone would love wildlife like he did. Now it is our turn to help," the 9-year-old Irwin told Women's Wear Daily.
The line, from which 100 percent of the proceeds support Australia's conservation programs, was previously available solely at the Australia Zoo. Now that it's going international, the designer, Palmina DiStasi, has more freedom.
"Since the clothes were only sold at the zoo, the clothes were quite touristy," DiStasi said. "It's nice that now we can do a bit more with the line and since Bindi is older, she's done so much for it. We've even taken her own artwork and incorporated it into the designs, and she always tells us what she wants and doesn't want in the collection."
